RB Rotary Club Meeting
September 4, 2014 
Minutes

The meeting was called to order by President Don at 12:30 p.m..

The Pledge was led by Maureen Rouleau.

The Opening Inspirational Thought was given by Arilla St. Laurent.

The Family of Rotary asked for a moment of silence for the passing of Paul Casterline, whose service will be a BHCC on October 11th.  More details to follow.

John O'Neill continues to make good progress.

Reminders were given about the District Conference on October 24,25,26.

October 2nd Meeting is dark, and Shirley is taking names for a vocational lunch at the Boys and Girls Club in 4 S Ranch.

John Goodrich was awarded a Paul Harris pin for his contributions to Rotary.

Two new members were installed, Bob Vaughn and James Kaspar.

Fines and Happy Bucks were collected by Arilla.

Vern Cook introduced the speaker from the Museum of Art, who gave a description of the French Impressionist collection.

Jim Hyldahl presented the speaker gift and citation

The next meeting on September 11th (at night) will have Judy Joyce-Cohen, Owner of Lexus Escondido and others and describe her experiences as a woman executive in a man's world.
The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m..

Closing Inspirational Thought was given by Karen Stelman

The meeting was adjourned at 1:30 p.m..
