Minutes, May 19, 2016
President Arilla called the meeting to order at 12:30 pm.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Joe Max.
The Inspirational Thought was shared by Dave Brooks.
The Greeter was Vern Cook who welcomed guests and visitors with the leading of the Welcome Song.
Birthdays will be celebrated on June 2nd due to the heavy schedule and many guests.
Volunteers were thanked:
Sgt at Arms Vern Cook and set-up crew, Judy Lutticken, Paul Donick & Dave Brooks.

The Family of Rotary was shared, noting that Susie Lisio and Carl Hoffman are not doing well.
Ron Hunt is undergoing a procedure and a card was passed around.
The Toy and Stuffed Animal Project will be updated when Mike Fuqua returns from China.
The date is June 18th at the Del Mar Fair from 10:00am to 7 pm. More later.
TGIX is at John Goodrich's home on May 28th. John and Deborah will provide the BBQ and desserts. Please RSVP.
Attendees are asked to bring appetizers, salads/fruit, vegetables dish/casserole, breads, wine/beer. John with his apron, will be manning the BBQ.

June 30 is the Demotion Party. Please RSVP to Don GLover and include your choice of entree. See the invite.
Our Joint District Conference was May 13. We will receive an update from President-Elect Benita Page on June 2.
A joint meeting of the Boards is scheduled for Monday May 23 at 4:00pm.
Music Camp participants will perform at the Escondido Center for the Arts on June 30.

The Fine Master did a fine job of collecting fines and happy bucks!
Gary Saks, President of the RB Rotary Club Foundation introduced the parents, counselors,and recipients of the $1500 scholarships to the Del Norte and RB High students.
The students answered questions from the members.
The May 26th meeting is dark. Those who would like to attend a meeting with the Mira Mar Club RSVP to Arilla.
It will be held at The Butcher Shop restaurant , 5255 Kearny Villa Road, S.D 92123. The meeting starts at 11:30.
Next meeting: June 2.
