March 31, 2016
President Arilla called the meeting to order at 12:30 pm.
The Pledge was led by Bob Vaughn.
The Inspirational Thought was shared by Mira Bozanich.
The Greeter was Jim Sommer.
The Volunteers were recognized and thanked.
The Family of Rotary was given my Mira, who had spoken to Karen Edwards. Jim is still having health problemsand did not want to receive calls.
Susie Lisio is recovering from surgery, but Jim Sommer visited and she was able to converse.
Brian Flaherty is expecting to return to Rotary on April 7.
Special Announcement was of the Joint District conference in Newport Beach May 13-15. Sign up on the District 5340 Website.
If we go as a group we can participate in Hospitality Night.
Welcomed back was "Old Fine Master", John O'Neill...He extracted a lot of money.Shirley Napierala donated the March birthday cake.
Charlie Crew asked for volunteers to be Speaker Chairs.
Jeannette Way, the History Lady, gave an informative and humorous look back using her historical collection.
Jim Hyldahl presented the library book.
Next week's speaker will be Dr. Cedric Dempsey, Past President of the NCAA.
Closing Thought: Let's Hear It for the Ladies!The Meeting was Adjourned at 1:35 pm.
