A BIG Thank You ...
A BIG thank you to all who made our Vines & Vittles fundraiser such a great event.
We had a great turnout of food, wine and beer vendors.
The kids games area was always busy.
I heard lot's of compliments about the band.
The craft artisans added color and class.
The dogs and other animals were great.
By the time the event opened we know that we had exceeded our sponsor target.
We had a full team of volunteers, for setup, the event and teardown.
The tickets booth moved guests through in a timely manner.
Good publicity and PR raised awareness of the event.
Vendor management worked very well.
Good supplies to keep all the booths serviced, and the tables/chairs movement by the vendor helped our muscles!
One of my favorite quotes from a wine vendor was "We do lot's of these events, but this is definitely the best organized we have seen. There are always volunteers checking with us if we need anything. Well done, we'll be back."
We can always improve, so please collect those "lessons learned" while they are still fresh in your mind and send them to Mike and Alan.
In the next week or so we will be providing you with more details and numbers from the event but I wanted to send out this heartfelt thank you to all of you.
