The Salvation Army Back to School Bash

The Escondido Corps Community Center will be holding a Back 2 School Bash on August 13th. The goal is to help at least 200, but up to 500 children with backpacks, school supplies, hair cuts, shoes, as well as provide a lunch, activities, booths and other items for the day. In order, based on donation need: Shoes Supplies (3 ring binders, filler paper, pencils and pens, notebooks, dividers, etc.) Backpacks Donated items or monetary contributions can be dropped off at club meetings: July 21, July 28, August 4 and August 11. Arilla has volunteered to buy school supplies with whatever money we collect. Please let Larry Saunders (LFS@BlueSailComputing.com) know if you plan to volunteer at the event.
