President Doug spoke briefly: “I’m sure most of us know about the shooting last weekend at the Chabad of Poway synagogue. I would just like to say, on behalf of our entire club, how sad we are that this happened, and express our sympathies to their entire congregation and all others affected. You are all in our thoughts, and we are reminded how vigilant we must remain, and helpful we must be to those in need”. He also mentioned a Thank You card from Denise McAndrews.
