RB Rotary April 23, 2026 Meeting
This past Thursday (4/23), we had the pleasure of hosting Susan Pacheco, a Master Gardener and Winemaker. She has grown wine grapes and bottled wine from them successfully from her vineyard in her very own front yard in La Costa. Susan gave us a tutorial on growing grapes from scratch and extensive info on gardening resources in San Diego. We all hope to grow grapes even half as good as hers!
In club news, we heard a "Who Am I" from Ayhan Olgun, one of our new red badge members, before he received his Gold Badge as a full-fledged member. Congratulations to Ayhan! We were also reminded of our annual RYLA meeting on May 14th and an upcoming club visit to the Navy Seal Museum on May 28th. Finally, our annual Operation Flags for Vets at Miramar National Cemetery will be held on May 23rd and 26th, so please come volunteer to support our vets! I hope you all have a fantastic week!
