Presenters gave hats to many well deserving volunteers in the annual Rancho Bernardo Hats Off To Volunteers event.
Our Gary Saks received a hat for his induction into the Rancho Bernardo Hall of Fame, so well-deserved after so many years of service to our community.
And our Barbara Alberts received our Rotary club’s hat for all her many contributions both in and out of our club, so much of which is behind the scenes and often not visible to many of the club members. So another big “Hats Off!” today to Gary and Barb from your club president, on behalf of our entire club.
Our members Marty Judge and Scott Lawn acted as event MCs, and several other club Rotarians assisted at the event, including Alex Lawn, Pat Chaffee, Sandie Dewane, John Leatherwood, Mark Alberts, and Joel Doss.
Fellow Hat Presenters at the Hats Off to Volunteers event on Saturday morning included club Secretary Judge Jan Goldsmith and RB Sunrise Rotarian and City Council Member Marni von Wilpert. It is indeed an honor to be in such company.
