President Mike brought the meeting to order and led us in a passionate recitation of the 4 Way Test. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by new member Scott Lawn. New member Jim Reid inspired us with a message from a 17th century samurai.

Our greeter was past President Bob Vaughn and he introduced several guests including Helen Vaughn, Jess Dawson, Earnie Giles, Ann Westbrook, Joanne Hyldahl, Joyce Hunt, Sharon Malloy, Alberta Max, Barb Crew and Joe Terzi. Mike thanked our volunteers: room setup by Sgt. at Arms Judy Lutticken, Doug Dawson, and past President Paul Donick; check-in by Joel Doss, Troy Daum and Sonny Googins; photography by James Kaspar; past President Bill Angus for doing the newsletter and these words by your humble scribe, past President Dave Brooks.
Mike told us that donations to our club foundation to help victims of Hurricane Harvey will now also go to those from Hurricane Irma. We have gathered $2000 so far; please give your checks to Dan Malloy.
