A warm and gracious THANK YOU extended to all who came and "conquered" at the Oaks North Clean Up Day today.
A warm and gracious THANK YOU extended to all who came and "conquered" at the Oaks North Clean Up Day today.
Nothing was too big or heavy for our truckers and loaders.
And, we sent full truckloads to Rise, Interfaith Community Services, and Computers for Kids with repurposed items helping people to live in a home again. Just amazing!
New record: thanks to Joel Doss and Ken Heinz, we had 17 Interactors from Mt. Carmel High. Time and again, they got to the cars and trucks to onload before we older citizens could get in position. Oh, to be that young and agile again!
I'd like to give a special "salute" to the following members of our Club for their efforts:
Judy Lutticken and Cheryl Roop- early morning coffee service and lunch service.
Barb Alberts and Resa Coopat- appraisal of all items for repurposing.
Toi Pak- for her natural affinity and warmth with our Mt. Carmel Interactors.
Future planning- Westwood Clean Up Day- Fall of 2023.

In service to Rotary,

Jim
