Signing cards for our military
Sometimes it's the little things. After our meeting last week a few members stayed after to sign holiday cards to members of our military. Vern Cook and Johanna Mullin (a new member!) led the charge on this project. Additionally, many of our members directed their See's Candy purchases to our beloved military members. And today, Vern, his wife Janene and Johanna delvered 280 cards and a lot of candy to Veteran's Village in San Diego. Not a huge effort, but very important and in keeping with our Rotary theme this year..."Be the Inspiration".
