On Monday April 5 at Bernardo Heights CC Deborah Goodrich, Patrick Chaffee, Doug Dawson picked up their carnitas plates from “Smokin Jim” Hyldahl.
The package Mexican dinner was complete with smoked pork shoulder, tortillas, guacamole and pico de gallo and Spanish Rice.   The donation was $50 each,  raising another $500 for 10 dinners this past week.
For most of a year now, Jim has provided many batches home cured and smoked bacon, smoked salmon, Norwegian Trout, and smoked Chicken for donations to our club.  He has donated all the raw materials and time.  The clubs growing bank account shows the impact of his “Smokin Jim” work.
