San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House offers lodging and support to families during their child’s hospitalization. Guests with seriously ill or injured children may be eligible to stay overnight with a referral from a Hospital social worker. Daytime resources are available through the Family Care Center.
Members of the Rancho Bernardo Rotary Club made their monthly visit to spread some cheer and assist those families by providing meal service. Tonight they served dinner from 6pm to 7:30. It was 30 minutes longer than the last time I was there. They had customers on and off throughout dinner time instead of the big line up at 6pm. They made Pork loin chops, zucchini, asparagus, and mashed potatoes and of course dessert!
